WHAT: | On October 2, 2012 - GE Digital Energy will open the doors to its Grid IQ™ Innovation Centre - a $40 million, 200,000 square foot facility that will be used to drive research, development and manufacturing of grid modernization technologies and facilitate global collaboration. |
GE's Grid IQ Innovation Centre will drive research and development, create new innovation-related jobs (including expanded manufacturing), and facilitate global collaboration in substation and distribution automation, electrical system protection and control, microgrid control and cyber security. | |
