ALBERTA, Sept. 29, 2015 /CNW/ - Kids will be running! Watch students from Calgary and Edmonton launch a third-annual provincial initiative to get kids on their feet and moving.
The run club initiative, founded by the Alberta Medical Association (AMA) and Ever Active Schools (EAS), is an innovative partnership to support increased physical activity and physical literacy among Alberta youth.
What you'll see:
The AMA Youth Run Club is an annual program held between September and June; it supports 305 schools (K-12) and 17,000 students across the province to offer a comprehensive, school-based running program.
