Timothy Kendrick, President & Chief Designer for BW GLOBAL, will be speaking at the #BCTECH Summit as a panelist for the topic, "Agritech - How technology will help feed 9 billion people" on Tuesday, January 19th at 1:30pm. He will be sharing his vision on how we need to address the serious issues facing food systems around the world. Kendrick will touch on BW GLOBAL's implementation and development of robotics, ultra-high light diffusion technology, atmospheric water collection, vertical growing technologies, use of big data, as well as aquaponics. BW GLOBAL's aquaponics systems combine aquaculture (the raising aquatic animals such as fish in tanks) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in an aqueous solution) in a mutually beneficial system.
