Clinic is the First Cannabis-Specialized clinic in Ontario's Second Largest City
MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 4, 2016 /CNW/ - Canadian Cannabis Clinics (CCC) (www.cannabisclinics.ca), Canada's authority in the safe prescribing and utilization of medical cannabis, announced today that it is opening a new location in Mississauga, Ontario.
The new clinic, which will be located at 77 Queensway West, will open on March 15, 2016. It is directly across from Trillium Health Centre, and is situated to serve residents of Mississauga, Oakville and Brampton.
The clinic is the first ever cannabis-specialized clinic in Mississauga, and CCC's tenth clinic in Ontario.
"We've been overwhelmed by the impact our Etobicoke clinic has made on the lives of our patients in West Toronto," says Ronan Levy, one of CCC's founders and directors. "Our patients come to us because conventional treatments have not been effective at relieving their suffering, or cause too many unwanted side effects. For these people, our clinic gives them a sense of hope and, in most cases, provides very effective results through the use of cannabis as medicine."
As with all CCC clinics, the Mississauga location will operate without any fees payable by patients. In addition, the clinic will provide free in-person cannabis education and strain selection services through CanvasRx (www.canvasrx.com).
"Despite the existence of our Etobicoke location, Mississauga and Brampton are some of the most underserved areas in Ontario for medical cannabis" adds Levy. "With the opening of this new location, we hope to provide residents of the Mississauga, Oakville and Brampton who suffer from pain, depression, anxiety, cancer, MS and other chronic conditions with the highest quality of medical care for the use of cannabis as medicine."
