LAVAL, QC, April 4, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Contrary to the figures published in the April 2, 2016 issue of Les Affaires newspaper on page 20 of the report entitled "Immobilier: résidences pour aînés" (Real estate: seniors' housing), Réseau Sélection currently has 3,985 units under development or construction, representing a total investment of $700 million.
The confusion may have arisen from Réseau Sélection's mid-March 2016 announcement of the official launch of five new projects valued at $250 million involving nearly 1,200 units in the municipalities of Vaudreuil-Dorion, Rock Forest in Sherbrooke, Granby, Deux-Montagnes and Sainte-Dorothée.
At a 2015 Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal strategic forum, Réal Bouclin, Founder and President of Réseau Sélection, unveiled the company's five-year plan to invest $2 billion in the development of 12,000 new units.
