CSA Group Announces New Executive Appointments

TORONTO, Feb. 22, 2016 /CNW/ - CSA Group President and CEO David Weinstein today announced two executive appointments, effective March 1, 2016. CSA Group is a leading standards development organization and a global provider of testing and certification services to national and global standards.

• Gianluca Arcari, who currently leads the Standards organization, is appointed to a senior and critical interim role as Vice President, Special Advisor to the CEO, to provide guidance in refocusing current global testing and certification business.  Gianluca has provided outstanding leadership and performance in a variety of roles and will assume a key executive position on the leadership team of testing and certification business.
  
  
• Magali Depras, currently Chief Operating Officer, is appointed President of Standards.  Her extensive operations experience, proven leadership and international business knowledge will be great assets to the standards community and to CSA Group's renewed focus on standards development and new research initiatives.
