Hi-Rise Capital Announces Appointment of Michael Kraft as Chief Executive Officer

TORONTO, Jan. 11, 2017 /CNW/ - Hi-Rise Capital Ltd. ("Hi-Rise" or the "Company"), a mortgage broker and administrator focused on funding high quality real estate development projects in the Greater Toronto Area, is pleased to announce today that it has appointed Michael Kraft as Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Kraft brings capital markets and mergers and acquisitions expertise to Hi-Rise from his distinguished career in investment banking. Throughout his career, Mr. Kraft has held progressively senior roles at leading financial institutions, including National Bank Financial, Citigroup and Dundee Capital Markets, where he most recently ran the Real Estate Group. While at Dundee, Mr. Kraft worked to originate, structure and execute corporate finance transactions having helped raise billions of dollars in public and private capital for real estate companies.

The addition of new leadership comes after a year of impressive growth for Hi-Rise. In 2016, the Company took on new real estate projects and added to the breadth of its team to better serve investors. Mr. Kraft will lead the team into 2017 as the Company aims to build on last year's success and expand its product and service offering.

Mr. Kraft holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, graduating in both instances with academic distinction.
