TORONTO, June 20, 2016 /CNW/ - HPE Canada is now using the InPost Lockers 24/7 automated-parcel machine network to provide more timely and efficient delivery of parts to HPE field engineers. The service provides HPE the option to deliver replacement parts directly to one of 150 convenient InPost pick-up locations in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The InPost network (www.inpost24.ca) will be expanding to 1,000 locations across Canada by 2017.
A set meeting location and time between the HPE engineer and couriers is no longer required for the part delivery. Having the option for delivery to InPost lockers, engineers now have the ultimate flexibility to pick up their parts when and where convenient – InPost lockers are accessible 24/7 and the self-serve pick-up process takes under 10 seconds to complete. In addition, shipping directly to an InPost locker is a more efficient delivery method for HPE and couriers and in fact helps HPE engineers better manage their routes and reduce overall repair time.
Tere Sampsom says "HPE is constantly innovating to improve our service levels and increase delivery efficiency for our customer engineers while continuing to offer best in class after market support to our customers. Offering our customer engineers the option to pick up replacement parts at an InPost locker aligns with our goal to provide supply chain innovative solutions that deliver the right part, at the right time, with the right quality.
"Our automated parcel machines are becoming an irreplaceable form of easy and quick delivery of items to consumers and businesses,'' says InPost Canada CEO Tony Jasinski. "We are delighted to be partnering with HP, leaders in technology and dedicated to ensuring customer-service expectations are surpassed."
InPost plans to roll out 1,000 locations nationally by 2017 under site agreements with major retailers, grocery outlets and gas stations.
