Ivrnet launches NEXTEXT to the North American Market
CALGARY, April 12, 2016 /CNW/ - Ivrnet Inc. (TSXV: IVI) ("Ivrnet" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce the official market release of its texting ("SMS") based communications and advertising/sponsorship platform "NEXTEXT".
In development since 2013, this first to market solution is specifically designed for the public transit market, providing digital communications and advertising revenue to North American transit operators. NEXTEXT allows riders to request and receive information relevant to their specific transit stop, along with advertising relevant to the geographic location of the stop. This unique SMS and sponsorship platform is based on Ivrnet's proprietary AdCentral platform that combines automated information response with geolocation services. NEXTEXT incudes SMS aggregation, SMS processing and integrated Web applications for selling and managing all aspects of advertising content and campaigns. NEXTEXT fully integrates with real time, GPS based bus arrival information. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is automated, easy to use, extremely scalable, readily deployable and remarkably cost effective for transit operators and their riders.
NEXTEXT is designed and packaged with Transit Authorities in mind
Safety, convenience and affordability are the cornerstones of attracting and sustaining transit ridership. With GPS tracking and SMS communication, transit authorities are able to enhance rider safety and convenience by making "real time" bus stop arrival time data available to the general public. Without NEXTEXT, these essential technologies are costly to provide to riderships throughout North America. With NEXTEXT, these expenses are effectively eliminated.
NEXTEXT can help reduce public transit operational costs dramatically
Chris Topolniski, Chief Operating Officer, Ivrnet Inc., comments, "Through in depth discussions with strategic partners ranging from the Government of Canada, anchor Transit Authorities and end-user ridership focus groups, we have designed and packaged the NEXTEXT product suite with the sole purpose of assisting public transit authorities in decreasing the large monthly operational expenses related to aggregation costs." He continues, "Our unique technology and business model turns these traditional high cost centers into profit centers by providing opportunities for digital sponsorships, while complying with both the spirit and letter of antispam and privacy legislation."
Powerful Digital Sponsorship opportunities
To ensure maximum exposure to advertisers, Ivrnet has partnered with longstanding public communications organization, FarWest Outdoor Advertising.
David Snell, Chief Executive Officer, Ivrnet Inc., comments, "One of the critical components to the success of the NEXTEXT service is the advertising partnership. With FarWest as our partner, we have a trusted and respected industry leader ensuring the highest quality of sponsors as participants." He continues, "FarWest has been working inside the transit and national advertising realm for more than 25 years. With this level of industry expertise, not only do they assist in providing a faster path to cost reductions for transit authorities nation wide, they assure longevity and consistency of sponsorship." Mr. Snell adds, "A sponsor driven SMS communication business model is similar to existing "bench" and "shelter" sponsorship models, and comes at no cost to the ridership."
Public transit value driven revenue opportunities
Chad Hiebert, Vice President Sales, Ivrnet Inc., comments, "In today's volatile economy, public transit authorities are thinking outside the box and looking for alternate means to reduce costs and drive revenues. NEXTEXT provides the opportunity to do both." He continues, "We are currently in discussions with over 20 transit authorities throughout North America representing texting volumes of over 10,000,000 per month, which translates to over $7,000,000 in annual opportunities."
