New ScholarshipsCanada.com online application makes it easy to access $120,000 in scholarship money
MISSISSAUGA, ON, May 1, 2017 /CNW/ - Knowledge First Financial Inc., a leading Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) provider, is pleased to launch the Knowledge First Financial Graduate Scholarship Awards program. Access to the ten scholarships, worth a total of $120,000, is made possible by a new online application created in partnership with ScholarshipsCanada.com, the country's largest aggregator of scholarship and bursary information for students.
These awards are an extension of the company's belief that financial support makes a huge difference to student success, especially for those pursuing graduate studies. The prospect of acquiring debt can be a very real obstacle and financial support can make all the difference.
"Scholarships are an important part of making post-secondary education a reality," said George Hopkinson, President & CEO, Knowledge First Financial Inc. "I am extremely pleased to introduce this new scholarship program as another way of demonstrating a broader commitment to helping students succeed."
"We welcomed the opportunity to partner with a like-minded company to help students attend the school of their choice, without being limited by the cost," said Chris Wilkins, Founder and CEO, ScholarshipsCanada.com. "Each year, close to $3 million of scholarships do not receive any applicants or go unclaimed. We believe the online application created for the Knowledge First Financial Graduate Scholarship Awards is an important first step to making it easier for students to access scholarship funding."
