New Lowe's locations set to open in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario
TORONTO, Nov. 27, 2014 /CNW/ - As part of its Canadian growth strategy, Lowe's Canada announced that it will open three new stores in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario. The new home improvement stores will offer more than 40,000 in-stock products to help customers build, improve and beautify their homes.

The new Lowe's stores will be located in Lethbridge, AB, Saskatoon, SK, and Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
Spring 2015 - Lethbridge, AB
The Lethbridge Lowe's will have approximately 94,500 square feet of retail sales space, with an adjacent garden centre of approximately 19,500 square feet. The store represents an approximate local investment in excess of $24 million and will create 120 to 140 jobs with an additional 40 to 50 seasonal positions. The store will be located at 3849 Mayor Magrath Drive South in the city's south end and is scheduled to open in spring 2015.
Summer 2015 - Saskatoon, SK
The Saskatoon Lowe's will have approximately 86,000 square feet of retail sales space, with an adjacent garden centre of approximately 15,500 square feet. The store represents an approximate local investment in excess of $20 million and will create 120 to 140 jobs with an additional 40 to 50 seasonal positions. The store will be located at 125 Betts Avenue in the city's west end and is scheduled to open in summer 2015.
Summer 2015 - Sault Ste. Marie, ON
The Sault Ste. Marie Lowe's will have approximately 75,000 square feet of retail sales space, with an adjacent permanent garden centre of approximately 4,400 square feet plus a 6,300 square foot seasonal pop-up garden centre. The store represents an approximate local investment in excess of $7 million and will create 120 to 140 jobs with an additional 40 to 50 seasonal positions. The store will be located at 248 Northern Avenue in the city's north end and is scheduled to open in summer 2015.
Lowe's opened two new stores in Ontario, in February 2014, in Cambridge and Burlington that featured the company's new concept store experience. Last week the company launched the Lowe's Holoroom in its North Etobicoke and Burlington stores which is a first of its kind, home improvement simulator that applies 3-D and augmented reality technologies to provide home owners with an intuitive, immersive experience of their room renovation projects.
