Media Advisory - Cadillac Fairview Celebrates Grand Opening of the First-Ever WE Store Retail Destination at CF Toronto Eaton Centre

Long-time WE Movement supporter Bridgit Mendler to take part in Random Acts of WE - photo opportunity at 4:15 p.m.   

TORONTO, July 28, 2016 /CNW/ - Today, Cadillac Fairview (CF) proudly joins charitable partner WE to unveil the first full-time WE retail destination at CF Toronto Eaton Centre. The exclusive store opening is a result of a recently announced multi-year partnership between Cadillac Fairview and WE aimed at inspiring and empowering youth to take action and make a positive difference in communities across Canada. As an extension of its youth-focused philanthropy platform and as part of the company's newly announced partnership with WE, Cadillac Fairview is providing WE with retail space in-kind at one of Canada's busiest and most iconic shopping centres, marking the first time CF has donated long-term leasing to a charitable partner.

Doors to the WE Store will open at 10:00 a.m., with official grand opening celebrations beginning at 4:15 p.m. Bridgit Mendler, long-time WE Movement supporter, singer and actress will be on-site to celebrate the milestone event where 100 lucky fans will have a chance to meet the actress inside the new retail space from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Throughout the day, WE Volunteers will showcase the spirit of the WE Movement by surprising shoppers with Random Acts of WE throughout CF Toronto Eaton Centre spreading kindness to celebrate the store opening.

As the physical manifestation of the WE Movement, the WE Store offers ME to WE products that empower people to change the world with their everyday consumer choices. Every ME to WE purchase gives a life-changing gift to a child or family in WE Charity's partner communities, from school supplies to health care to alternative income opportunities. For the first time, customers will be able to shop for socially conscious goods, like Rafiki Bracelets and make an impact in person.
