The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will announce the exciting slate of programs and activities for Canada Day in Ottawa–Gatineau
OTTAWA, May 31, 2017 /CNW/ - The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will be in Ottawa on Thursday to unveil the exciting program for Canada Day celebrations in Canada's Capital Region.
The event will begin at noon with a special pop-up performance at the foot of the stairs in front of the Centre Block on Parliament Hill.
Following the performance, media representatives will proceed to the Sir John A. Macdonald Building, where Minister Joly will reveal details of the activities and performances that will be taking place for the three-day-long Canada Day festivities on Parliament Hill, at the Canadian Museum of History and in Major's Hill Park.
