Media Advisory - Holocaust survivors come together to speak out against atrocities in Aleppo
TORONTO, Dec. 20, 2016 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, December 21, five Holocaust survivors will unite outside the offices of the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre for Holocaust Studies (FSWC) to speak out against the horrific crimes being perpetrated on the people of Aleppo.
Speaking from personal histories, the survivors hope to show solidarity with the victims in Syria while demonstrating the need to speak out and raise awareness of these atrocities at every opportunity. They will be joined by FSWC President and CEO, Avi Benlolo, who will address importance of international intervention and humanitarian aid.
