TORONTO, Aug. 25, 2017 /CNW/ - Millions of Star Wars^™ fans around the world are gearing up for an out-of-this-galaxy celebration on Force Friday II – the worldwide debut of the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi toys and collectibles. Beginning at 12:01 a.m. (local time) on Friday, September 1, 2017, Toys"R"Us will host five special Midnight Openings across Canada, giving fans the chance to be among the first to take home the new Star Wars products*, like the Toys"R"Us exclusive Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder^™ from Radio Flyer. The first 100 fans in line at each store will also receive exclusive giveaways, including a Star Wars: Episode VIII: poster and Funko POP t-shirt: Star Wars The Last Jedi - Rey and Friends**. 

All weekend long fans will be able to bring to life some of their favourite Saga characters at Toys"R"Us stores worldwide. In commemoration of the worldwide launch of new products inspired by Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Disney and Lucasfilm have announced Find the Force, an unprecedented pop-up Augmented Reality (AR) treasure hunt that unites fans around the world in the battle against the dark side for a unique global three-day event. Shoppers can also purchase the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi merchandise for their toy empires on toysrus.ca/starwars starting at 12:01 a.m. (EDT).
