Milestone Apartments REIT to Report First Quarter of 2016 Financial Results on May 9, 2016

− REIT Declares April 2016 Distribution and Provides Annual and Special Meeting Details –

TORONTO and DALLAS, April 15, 2016 /CNW/ - Milestone Apartments Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: MST.UN) ("Milestone" or the "REIT") will report its first quarter of 2016 financial results after market close on Monday, May 9, 2016. Robert Landin, CEO, Steve Lamberti, COO, and Ryan Newberry, CFO, will host a conference call for the investment community the following day, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. (ET).

April 2016 Distribution
The REIT has declared a cash distribution of US$0.04583 per REIT unit for the month of April, representing US$0.55 per REIT unit on an annualized basis. Payment will be made on May 16, 2016 to unitholders of record as at April 29, 2016.

Annual General and Special Meeting
Milestone will host its 2015 Annual General and Special Meeting on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. (ET) at the offices of Goodmans LLP, which are located at 333 Bay Street, Suite 3400, in Toronto.
