MAISON ROUGE — Labyrinth of Terror, a new year-round haunted attraction guaranteed to make you scream
MONTREAL, Aug. 28, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - La Ronde, Quebec's leading destination for thrills and family entertainment, is turning up the fear factor in 2015 with the addition of an all-new, year-round haunted attraction. Guests will be terrified when walking through MAISON ROUGE, a bone-chilling funhouse that will leave them screaming for their lives!
The carnival left decades ago, leaving behind its ruin and decay. The funhouse still stands, rotting and filled with evil. The clowns, once friendly and fun, have turned insane and demented. The journey begins with fun…and finishes with blood. Different frightening paths through the attraction will take guests into a multitude of rooms, a labyrinth of evil and darkness from which they must escape.
"MAISON ROUGE is a creepy, adrenaline-filled, experience" said Phil Liggett, president of La Ronde. "The addition of a haunted attraction open all season is a unique offering and is sure to be a hit with our guests."
With its unique conception, MAISON ROUGE will feature:
MAISON ROUGE will be designed and built by ACMÉ Services Scéniques, a Montreal based company, with more than 17 years of experience in spectacular entertainment concepts. Their knowledge and expertise led them to work with prestigious companies such as Le Cirque du Soleil and Cavalia and world renowned artists like Céline Dion.
"Renowned for our creative capabilities ACMÉ is proud to team up with La Ronde to create a unique immersive experience different from any other traditional haunted houses" adds Luc Mantha, Vice-President of Strategic Partnerships at ACMÉ Services Scéniques.
This fall, starting October 4, it will be Halloween at La Ronde featuring a new Demon's Lair and a new Zombie Beach. This year's edition of the biggest monsters and ghouls gathering in Quebec promises to be the biggest and scariest ever!
With close to 40 rides and attractions, including 7 roller coasters and Le Pays de Ribambelle, an area completely dedicated to younger guests, La Ronde provides fun and thrills at great value for guests of all ages. The addition in 2014 of the new DÉMON and the arrival of MAISON ROUGE in 2015 underscores Six Flags' commitment to provide exciting new offerings in every park ever year.
