Sobeys Urban Fresh Opens Canada's First Nutella® Café

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 13, 2015 /CNW/ - Sobeys Inc. today announced the opening of Canada's very first Nutella® Café at its newly renovated Spadina Sobeys Urban Fresh store in Toronto, Ontario.

More than one in five Canadian households purchase Nutella® to incorporate into their recipes or morning routine1. Now, they can visit the Nutella® Café for an assortment of delicious pastries and artisan breads made with Nutella®, including bombe, aragosta, zeppole, pizelle and all-butter croissants and danishes. Fresh made-to-order crêpes with Nutella® and premium hot beverages are also available to complete the Nutella® Café experience.

As part of the grand opening celebration, customers have the opportunity to sample products from the Nutella® Café and are encouraged to share their experiences on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #NutellaxSobeys.

In addition, the renovated Spadina Sobeys Urban Fresh offers customers an enhanced shopping experience with more products and services. This includes an expanded:

  • Fresh produce department with ready-to-eat cut fruit, vegetables and salads, and a wide variety of organic and local produce;
  • Meat department offering Certified Humane® beef, pork and chicken, Sterling Silver® AAA Premium Beef, Ontario lamb and a variety of marinated, ready-to-cook proteins; and
  • Sobeys' Kitchen featuring chef-inspired self-serve salad and hot entrée bars, stone oven-baked pizza al taglio and freshly made sushi and noodle dishes.  

Spadina Sobeys Urban Fresh, located at 22 Fort York Blvd. in Toronto, Ontario, is open from 7 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. The Nutella® Café is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
