Struck Contemporary: Soft Opening of New Space
TORONTO, Oct. 3, 2017 /CNW/ - As of October 5, 2017, Struck Contemporary Gallery will officially have a new home. The new Struck space at 365 Dupont street features works of established contemporary Masters. Alongside Warhol, Lichtenstein, and Rauschenberg, there will also be exciting new works by local and international up-and-coming artists. Bockner's aesthetic bridges the gap between old and new worlds of contemporary art and postmodernism. His style unites the polished sensibilities of the traditional gallery, modern street art movement and the emerging arts community under one roof.
"I imagine this new space as a living nexus of constantly moving and evolving creative installations," says Bockner. "I want to welcome the Toronto arts community into the space, intertwining the evolution of emerging contemporary art with its roots, in real time. My furniture designs, space installations, and creative experiences are my art. Signature pieces from Andrew Richard Designs will be featured by appointment to professional trades-designers, builders, and architects. The space will also serve as a boutique event venue and is immediately available for booking."
