TORONTO, Nov. 27, 2013 /CNW/ - TELETOON Canada's winter schedule, launching on Monday, January 6, 2014, is crammed with edge-of-your-seat laughter and excitement. A whole batch of new series, episodes, specials, movies and more will broadcast throughout the winter months on TELETOON, TELETOON at Night, TELETOON Retro and Cartoon Network. TELETOON's winter schedule keeps the laughs coming with the addition of Packages from Planet X making its Canadian debut in the Can't Miss Thursdays lineup on Thursday, January 16 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT. This series follows the misadventures of Dan Zembrosky and his two best friends, Amanda and Troll, as they repeatedly save the world from the extremely crazy side effects of the mysterious alien packages that they receive from Planet X, all while trying to keep them from the evil Copernicus who wants to use the packages towards an all-out alien invasion.
The Can't Miss Thursdays awesomeness continues with the premiere of the newest installment in the hit Total Drama franchise, Total Drama All-Stars on Thursday, January 9, with two back-to-back episodes beginning at 7 p.m. ET/PT. Total Drama All-Stars features the return of 14 previous cast members who face the most grueling challenges yet in order to compete for the one million dollar prize.
Launching on Wednesday, January 8 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT, Season 2 of TELETOON Original Production Rocket Monkeys joins the TELETOON winter lineup and sees brothers Gus and Wally battle rogue black holes, vengeful alien and criminal masterminds and continue to wreak havoc on an intergalactic scale.
Superfans rejoice! Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. adds some serious muscle to TELETOON's Superfan Friday lineup this winter with the Canadian premiere on Friday, January 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT. Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. gives a whole new meaning to crime-fighting as Hulk, She-Hulk, Red Hulk, A-Bomb and Skaar join forces to tackle threats that no other superheroes can overcome.
Among other highlights, hilarious new prank-filled episodes of TELETOON Original series Just Kidding round out the weekly schedule on Sunday nights starting Sunday, February 2 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT.
TELETOON at Night
TELETOON at Night's winter schedule welcomes the highly-anticipated fifth season of the award-winning series Archer on Monday, January 13 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, premiering day-and-date with FX in the U.S. New episodes of this edgy animated spy series will air each week on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on TELETOON at Night, mirroring the U.S. broadcast schedule. Season 5 episodes will repeat on Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT as part of the Fred at Night programming lineup.

This winter, Johnny Bravo adds bicep-bulging adventure to TELETOON Retro's lineup of beloved cartoons from days gone by Mondays to Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. ET, which will begin Monday, January 6 at 9:30 p.m. ET. Johnny Bravo's character is the main event in this side-splitting series; he talks like Elvis, looks like James Dean and acts like Arthur Fonzarelli, but still lives with his mother.
Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network is embarking on the winter season by offering a national free preview of the network to subscribers of participating television service providers from January 30 to March 3, 2014. During this free preview, Cartoon Network presents the fourth annual Hall of Game Awards, the first-of-its-kind sports award and entertainment event for kids, which premieres Tuesday, February 25 at 6 p.m. ET/PT. GAME trophies will be handed out to sports superstars in front of an audience of celebrity attendees. Fans can cast votes for their favourite sports players from January 6 to February 14, 2014 by visiting hallofgame.ca.
Animation fans who have yet to tune in to Cartoon Network will have the opportunity to check out the channel's hit shows every Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET/PT throughout February on TELETOON beginning Tuesday, February 4 during a special Cartoon Network-exclusive programming block.
