The Ontario Brain Institute Offers $50,000 to Jump-Start your Neurotech Start-up

TORONTO, Feb. 8, 2016 /CNW/ - OBI's unique Entrepreneurs Program offers up to 10 early stage entrepreneurs the opportunity to build a start-up company and develop a technology applicable to brain disorders or brain health:

• $50,000 in funding over one year
• Mentorship from experts in the field
• Training to develop business skills

To date, the success of OBI Entrepreneurs has resulted in:

• 40 prototypes built
• 26 patents and disclosures
• Over $5M in follow-on funding
