The Ontario Brain Institute Offers $50,000 to Jump-Start your Neurotech Start-up

TORONTO, Feb. 8, 2016 /CNW/ - OBI's unique Entrepreneurs Program offers up to 10 early stage entrepreneurs the opportunity to build a start-up company and develop a technology applicable to brain disorders or brain health:
- $50,000 in funding over one year
- Mentorship from experts in the field
- Training to develop business skills
To date, the success of OBI Entrepreneurs has resulted in:
- 40 prototypes built
- 26 patents and disclosures
- Over $5M in follow-on funding
