MONTRÉAL, April 11, 2016 /CNW/ - Coffee and cookies have long been the quintessential afternoon snack but cookie flavoured coffee puts a whole new twist on a late pick-me-up. Two Rivers Coffee Inc. and Félix & Norton have joined forces and are set to launch the Félix & Norton Coffee & Hot Chocolate brand of single serve cups during the SIAL CANADA food show at the Montréal Convention Centre (booth 2549).
Two Rivers Coffee is one of the original Keurig-compatible, single serve coffee manufacturers in North America, manufacturing and distributing Keurig compatible single serve products (including teas, Hot chocolates and ciders) nationwide to retail stores and online outlets. TRC produces several brands but has recently teamed up with Félix & Norton to offer premium line of products. The partnership with the famed Montréal-based cookie company unites its mass popularity and following with an unparalleled level of experience and quality that Two Rivers Coffee guarantees in every single serve cup.
"Two Rivers is all about great brands," says Sam Blaney, Director of Marketing for Two Rivers Coffee. "So we thought it was only natural to team up with a brand that is deliciously fun!"
Félix & Norton took the consumer love affair between cookies and smiles to a whole new level in 1985, becoming the most adored company to make gourmet homemade cookies in Montréal. Known for its irresistible selection of specialty cookies, the company quickly evolved from a single corner shop operation to 45 specialty stores across Canada. In 2008, the company launched a mobile bakery, sending the environmentally-friendly, solar and propane-powered food truck to the streets of Montréal, delivering cookies, smiles and pure pleasure to consumers daily.
"We are very excited about our new venture with Two Rivers Coffee," says Michael Eskenazi, President of Félix & Norton Licensing Inc. "We have worked closely together to create gourmet cookie-flavoured coffees and hot chocolates reminiscent of our Félix & Norton cookie flavours. Coffee, hot chocolate and cookie lovers everywhere are in for a real two-in-one treat!"
"Everybody loves a good cookie," says Blaney. "That's why we've styled a new line of perfectly blended coffee and hot chocolates after these famous Canadian-based treats. We are proud to be honouring a unique, premium brand and a great Canadian story!"
