WELL-HUMANITI news conference - Media advisory
Use of the WELL Building Standard is driving Montreal to the forefront of the North American real estate industry with a first major real estate project in the city, and in Quebec, registered to pursue this certification focused on achieving human health through better buildings and communities.
MONTREAL, Aug. 25, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - COGIR Real Estate and Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ, together with executives of the The International WELL Building Institute™ (IWBI™) cordially invites the media to an important news conference, with elected officials in attendance, to officially announce the first real estate development in Quebec committed to obtaining certification under the WELL Building StandardTM (WELL), and for which the HUMANITI mega-project will become the standard-bearer.
The WELL Building Standard is an innovative approach focused on the physical and mental health, quality of life and well-being of users of buildings designed for working and living. WELL benefits the entire community because it can make a significant impact on the reduction of social costs related to occupational illness, healthcare and workplace absenteeism, in addition to generating positive benefits for the developers and occupants of commercial, industrial or mixed-use real estate complexes.
