TORONTO, July 19, 2017 /CNW/ - White Ribbon, the world's largest movement to end violence against women, announced today the appointment of Humberto Carolo as Acting Executive Director and Chi Nguyen as Acting CEO of Parker P. Consulting, the for-profit consultation arm of the organization, effective August 5th, 2017.
Previously, in his role as Managing Director, Mr. Carolo has played a critical part in the growth and impact of White Ribbon over the past 12 years, working on a broad range of White Ribbon program initiatives. Mr. Carolo also currently serves as the Board Chair of Abrigo Centre, and is also the co-founder of the North American MenEngage Network (NAMEN).
Ms. Nguyen, in her prior position as Managing Director, has been instrumental in getting Parker P. off the ground. She has helped this start-up social enterprise collaborate with international non-government organizations, post-secondary institutions and private sector companies to promote gender equality. Ms. Nguyen has lead complex consulting projects with McGill University, Barrick Gold, and the Lassonde School of Engineering.
White Ribbon's outgoing Executive Director and CEO of Parker P. Consulting, Todd Minerson is leaving to pursue a new career opportunity, after 12 years of outstanding leadership.

"We are very grateful for his guidance, passion and dedication in the effort to engage men and boys in preventing violence against women."
