Richfield Ventures Corp. and Paget Minerals Increase Claim Holdings in the
Nechako Basin, BC

QUESNEL, BC, April 28 /CNW/ - Richfield Ventures Corp. (TSX.V:RVC) "Richfield" or the "Company" is pleased to announce an increase in claim holdings within the JV area of interest with Paget Minerals (TSX.V: PGS) ("Paget") in the Nechako Basin area of central British Columbia (see press release dated April 6, 2010).

Richfield claimed 2,820 hectares and Paget 14,159 hectares bringing the total land holdings held 100% by the joint venture to 91,057 hectares. Gold showings and surface geochemistry on the entire claim block provide immediate targets for field assessment with a view to rapidly advancing them to drill stage during the 2010 exploration program.

Richfield and Paget plan to initiate field programs in early May.
