OTTAWA, ON, June 6, 2024 /CNW/ - The Honourable Bill Blair, Minister of National Defence, on behalf of the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, and Randeep Sarai, Parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, will participate in a ceremony at the National War Memorial to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy.
The event will honour and recognize Veterans of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy with a wreath laying at the National War Memorial.
