/R E P E A T -- Invitation to media - Ministers Martinez Ferrada and Champagne meet with leaders of economic organizations in Montréal/

MONTRÉAL, Jan. 29, 2025 /CNW/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

The Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for CED, the Honourable Soraya Martinez Ferrada, and the Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, will meet with leaders from different key industries to discuss possible consequences and identify the needs of Quebec businesses, in case customs tariffs are applied on products sold in the U.S.

The ministers will take the opportunity to make an announcement regarding CED's continued support for regional export promotion organizations (ORPEX).

A media scrum is planned. The media will also be invited to attend the first minutes of the meeting.
