QUÉBEC, Jan. 25, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

The Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Member of Parliament for Québec and President of the Treasury Board, and Joël Lightbound, Member of Parliament for Louis-Hébert and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, invite media representatives to a press conference on CED support for the Club Sportif des Appalaches, the Communauté allemande Québec organization, Événements GPCQM and Vaolo.

The announcement of these financial contributions will be made on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages.

Tourism is a major economic engine in Quebec generating many jobs. This sector was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and the impacts could last several months and even several years.
