QUÉBEC CITY, April 3, 2024 /CNW/ - The indispensable, timeless work of Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669), the great master of European art, is coming to Québec at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec.
Admire the emotional breadth, humanism, and virtuosity displayed by the works of the artist who revolutionized the art of engraving in an exhibition encompassing 80 rare etchings from a renowned Dutch collection, in an unforgettable intimate experience.
Works from the collections of the MNBAQ will echo the engravings by Rembrandt, a universal, prolific, innovative artist whose powerful influence has withstood the test of time.
The exhibition has been made possible by an exceptional loan from the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
