The Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism, will be in the Toronto and Hamilton area to meet with arts and culture groups
TORONTO, March 13, 2019 /CNW/ - The Honorable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism, will tour the Toronto and Hamilton areas from March 14 to 16. He will highlight the exceptional cultural infrastructure projects being led in the region and meet with arts and culture groups to discuss the priorities facing the creative sector.
Beginning his tour in Kleinburg on March 14, the Minister will visit the McMichael Canadian Art Collection.
He will then travel to Toronto to meet with Historica Canada and local arts and culture stakeholders from the Davenport neighbourhood.
On March 15, Minister Rodriguez will make an announcement at Artscape Daniels Launchpad about cultural infrastructure projects, then take a hard-hat tour of the renovations currently being undertaken at Massey Hall.
On March 16, Minister Rodriguez will travel to Hamilton to visit the Art Gallery of Hamilton and meet with local arts and culture stakeholders.
