OTTAWA, ON, Oct. 31, 2023 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, November 1, Judith Robertson, Commissioner of the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, and the Governor of the Bank of Canada, Tiff Macklem, will launch the 13th annual Financial Literacy Month.
This event will bring together people and organizations that share a commitment to advancing financial literacy in Canada. In addition, Dr. Supriya Syal, Deputy Commissioner, Research, Policy and Education, at the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, will provide an update on the National Financial Literacy Strategy at its mid-way point.
The theme for this year's Financial Literacy Month, Managing Your Money in a Changing World, is focused on addressing the financial issues most affecting Canadians and advancing the National Financial Literacy Strategy. Throughout November, FCAC will be encouraging Canadians to check up on their financial health, in particular their progress in managing and paying down debt.
