WINNIPEG, MB, Jan. 14, 2025 /CNW/ - The Honourable Terry Duguid, Minister of Sport and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada, on behalf of the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, will announce support for the development of entrepreneurship skills and commercialization capacity in the academic community.

He will be accompanied by the Honourable Renée Cable, Manitoba's Minister of Advanced Education and Training, and Manal Bahubeshi, Vice-President of Research and Technology Partnerships at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council.

Following the announcement, members of the media are invited to participate in a lab tour.
