SHERBROOKE, QC, Oct. 13, 2022 /CNW/ - The Minister of National Revenue, the Honourable Diane Lebouthillier, will make an announcement at a Sherbrooke tax clinic about the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program and how it can help make life more affordable by helping Canadians access important benefits and credits. A media availability will follow.

A new funding formula for the program will be unveiled. It will allow the Canada Revenue Agency to provide more funding to eligible organizations, in particular, those that serve Northern and Indigenous communities.
