She will also meet with representatives from the local tourism industry to discuss local broadband needs.

Parliamentary Secretary Hutchings meets with representatives of the Women in Resource Development Inc. to discuss issues and challenges advancing economic equality of women in Newfoundland & Labrador.
9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Parliamentary Secretary Hutchings holds roundtable discussion with Newfoundland and Labrador tourism organizations to discuss challenges around broadband and cellular issues that have impacted the industry.
1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Parliamentary Secretary Hutchings meets with researchers at the Harris Centre at Memorial University for a demonstration of networking and capacity building tools for rural communities, researchers and regional planners.
3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Parliamentary Secretary Hutchings will hold a roundtable discussion on the design of the new Universal Broadband Fund with Municipalities Newfoundland & Labrador and area rural community mayors.
4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Parliamentary Secretary Hutchings takes part in a meet and greet with officials from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.
