The Government of Canada and the Swiss Federal Council will hold a signing ceremony for a new audiovisual treaty between the two countries
MONTRÉAL, Nov. 1, 2023 /CNW/ - The Honourable Pascale St-Onge, Minister of Canadian Heritage, and the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will preside the signing ceremony of a modernized Canada–Switzerland audiovisual coproduction treaty with His Excellency Alain Berset, President of the Swiss Confederation and Head of the Federal Department of Home Affairs.
The ceremony will take place on Friday, on the sidelines of the CINEMANIA Film Festival in Montréal, where Switzerland is this year's featured country.
Media will be invited to take photos and videos during the ceremony. Minister St-Onge will be available to answer questions from media following the ceremony.
