/R E P E A T -- MEDIA ADVISORY - "Solidarity rally" on TSSA doorstep in support of public safety and striking inspectors/

TORONTO, Sept. 1, 2022 /CNW/ - The Toronto & York Region Labour Council have organized a "solidarity rally" at the headquarters of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) for labour allies to show support for striking OPSEU/SEFPO safety inspectors who have been trying to get the TSSA to return to the bargaining table for six weeks.

The rally is taking place at TSSA headquarters as the employer continues to refuse to negotiate a fair first contract with the safety inspectors.

The rally will include a table and chairs. The TSSA Board of Directors have an open invitation to come out of their offices and sit at the table with inspectors.
