/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Survivors urge Canada to Restore Funding to Missing Children and Unmarked Burial Investigations/

OTTAWA, ON, Sept. 27, 2024 /CNW/ - On the fourth annual "National Day of Truth and Reconciliation" the Survivors' Secretariat will release a new national report summarizing the concerns of Survivors of Indian Residential Schools, Indigenous leaders, and experts in policing, research and archeological over the federal government's drastic cuts to funding for Residential School Investigations into Missing Children and Unmarked Burials.

The Survivors' Secretariat was established in 2021 by Survivors of the Mohawk Institute to organize and support efforts to uncover, document, and share the truth about what happened at the Mohawk Institute during its 142 years of operation.
