OTTAWA-GATINEAU, May 26, 2021 /CNW/ - The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) will release its decision on the applications to review the rates to access the large companies' high-speed broadband networks (known as wholesale aggregated high-speed access services) on May 27, 2021 at 4 p.m.
The CRTC is inviting the media to participate in a virtual technical briefing prior to the release of its decision. This session, which is not for attribution, will provide an opportunity to learn about the decision and to ask questions of CRTC experts. The session will begin at 3 p.m. on May 27 and will last one hour. The embargo will be lifted at 4 p.m.
Mandatory registration
The contact information of participating journalists must be submitted to [email protected] no later than noon on May 27, 2021.
Embargo Procedures
The participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Signed agreements must be returned to [email protected] by May 27, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. Afterwards, eligible participants will receive full details on how to access the virtual technical briefing and the embargoed digital documents.
