OPSEU President Warren (Smokey) Thomas warned Waypoint that mismanagement is escalating ongoing problems.
"We'll keep holding Waypoint management's feet to the fire until they start respecting our members," says Thomas. "When you mess up the scheduling of staff, it impacts health and safety, quality services, job security and continuity of care. They are making a big mistake."
OPSEU represents 1,104 workers at Waypoint, with part-time workers now outnumbering full-time workers by 593 to 511.
