TORONTO , Feb. 12 /CNW/ - Survivor, the pioneer in reality television, celebrated the launch of its 20th season with over 2.7 million loyal viewers (Ind 2+), proving its incredible staying power with fans.

Last night the premiere of Heroes Vs Villains was fierce out of the gate as former contestants including "Heroes" Colby Donaldson and Rupert Boneham plus "Villains" Jerri Manthey , " Boston " Rob Mariano and Samoa finalist Russell Hantz reunited for this intriguing all-star edition. Building on their past experiences, immediate alliances and romantic sparks were quick to form as the players were reacquainted with life as survivors.
