MONTRÉAL-NORD, July 31, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
In 2017, the Government of Canada introduced a plan to help innovative businesses to succeed and commercialize their products internationally. Thanks to a repayable contribution of $115,000, Spytronic Security Inc., a distributor of surveillance and security equipment, will be able to boost its production capacity and commercialize its new speech protection technology in Brazil, the United States, France, Qatar, Singapore and Russia.
This announcement was made by Emmanuel Dubourg, Member of Parliament for Bourassa, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED.
Established in 2004, Spytronic Security offers hidden cameras, digital audio and video recording devices, tracking devices and security accessories. With extensive acquired experience in the field of security, the company has recently developed an innovative speech protection device that generates a range of acoustic and ultrasound frequencies.
In addition to the prototyping, proving and certification of the technology, the funds awarded under CED's Quebec Economic Development Program will enable the enterprise to participate in specialized trade fairs, make contacts, train potential distributors and prospect for new clients. It will also be able to design a Web platform and promotional tools.
