150 new jobs expected - Alphanumeric Systems opens global, multilingual clinical-application service desk in Greater Montréal

MONTREAL, Sept. 12, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - U.S.-based Alphanumeric Systems, Inc.—a world-class information technology and learning services provider—today announced the opening of its new offices in Greater Montréal, which includes a global, multilingual clinical-application service desk, technical application support, as well as an administrative unit.

The company, which has been established in North Carolina for over three decades, is now hiring 50 full-time workers in the Montréal region and plans to triple its staff in the next 12 months by providing tailored services to its North American customer base and new client acquisition.

"Alphanumeric Systems is undergoing strong growth and the timing couldn't be better for us to expand into Canada now," said Alphanumeric Systems CEO Karen T. Braswell. According to Linda Herndon, Vice President Global Learning & Strategic Outsourcing at Alphanumeric, the new Montréal subsidiary will allow the company to enhance its service offering and thus improve its business continuity solutions. "Montréal is a great fit for our growth plans and a springboard to diversify our services and allow our customers to be even more productive. The Montréal area, with its strong university community, also offers access to a large number of qualified resources—a key component to developing and bolstering our presence in Canada."

Ms. Braswell also extended her thanks to the stakeholders that supported Alphanumeric and helped bring its project to fruition.
