TORONTO, Jan. 23, 2015 /CNW/ - In mid-January one of the largest retail chains, Target Canada, announced its closure of all retail stores in the Canadian market. This news, along with other announced retail chain store closures such as Mexx, Jacob, Smart Set and Sony Stores have impacted thousands of Canadians. Both triOS College Business Technology Healthcare and Eastern College recognize this impact and wish to step in and help those who have been affected by these recent changes. In response, triOS and Eastern College are offering bursaries of up to $1500 that can be used towards any of their 25+ career training diploma programs to all those laid off after January 1st 2015 from a retail chain.

The bursary will help alleviate some of the stress for retail workers that have found themselves out of work and are looking at career options.
