200 ICT SME's Executives exchange on the challenge of selling Innovation at the Big Bang 10th edition Français
MONTREAL, May 23, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The Quebec Technology Association (AQT) brings together CEOs and Head of Sales and Marketing of ICT companies at the 10th edition of the Big Bang, the Information, Communications and Technology commercialisation forum at Centre Mont Royal. With more and more executives looking to expand their business outside Quebec, one morning has been added to cover the subject. While the first day of the forum, on June 6th, will cover the challenges of selling innovation, the morning of June 7th will focus exclusively on doing business outside Quebec.
A boot-camp on exportation on June 7th, from 7:30 am to 12 pm
Former Canada's Ambassador to OECD Kimon Valaskakis, will kick off this boot-camp dedicated to growth outside Quebec with an update on what's happening in the economic world and an overview of the threats and opportunities for our SMEs internationally. The imminent economist consulted by the G8 and the international press will then give the floor to Joan Vogelesang, President of Toon Boon Animation, a successful multinational present in 122 countries. The program will finally be capped off by Dominique Deneault, from Trebora Conseil, who will coach attendees on how to develop the ideal DNA of a global player.
"74% of ICT SME are active outside Quebec, versus 13.6% of all the SME in Quebec. ICT SMEs have developed a large and diversified network of contacts that AQT will strenghen this year by announcing several partnerships with different organisations" said Nicole Martel, CEO of AQT.
A dozen of foreign companies will be onsite looking to partner with Quebec companies. At the same time, ICT entrepreneurs active on more than a 100 countries will exchange on how to do successful business outside Quebec.
