200,000 visitors expected at the Palais des congrès de Montréal for the 2014 Montréal International Auto Show Français
MONTREAL, Jan. 14, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The Palais des congrès de Montréal will be hosting the 46th Montréal International Auto Show (MIAS) this January 17 to 26, 2014. The popular consumer show, which is widely regarded as the automotive event of the year by many Montréalers, is expected to draw more than 200,000 visitors, and will bring together over 60 exhibitors sharing no less than 365,000+ sq. ft. of prime event space in the heart of the city.
"At the Palais, we have been passionately devoted to the Auto Show for the last 12 years, and the event has become one of Montréal's biggest," said André Saucier, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Palais de Montréal. "We are strategically located in the city's core and are ready for this major exhibition where many new vehicle models will be unveiled."
A state-of-the-art environment
The Palais' multipurpose and ultramodern facilities are ideal for this type of consumer show, whose very sizeable booths require the right venue and expertise. Also, this year the Auto Show will benefit from the Palais' new network infrastructure, which allows for up to 20,000 simultaneous wireless internet connections, and features state-of-the-art dynamic signage spearheaded by 88 55-inch giant screens and a 90 sq. ft. video wall located by the exit leading to the metro station.
The Palais, accessible and convenient
Located in the downtown core, the Palais is easily accessible either by car, public transit or on foot, especially since it is directly linked to the Montréal metro system and the underground city. Auto Show visitors will also have the opportunity to discover the products and services available year round at the Galeries du Palais. Visit www.lesgaleriesdupalais.com to learn more.
