2010 JUNO Awards performances now available for purchase online with proceeds
to MusiCounts

TORONTO, April 23 /CNW/ - Within 48 hours of the curtain coming down on one of the most spectacular JUNO Awards shows to-date, and for the first time ever, multiple audio performances from the live JUNO broadcast in St.John's are available for purchase online as artists stepped up for MusiCounts and music education in schools across Canada.

Eight live performances from JUNO Awards broadcast live performances --including songs from Billy Talent, Blue Rodeo, Classified, Drake, Great Lake Swimmers, Johnny Reid and Metric -- are now available at multiple online stores. These performances also include Wavin Flag by K'NAAN, which features a variety of special guests, including Justin Bieber, Drake and Nikki Yanofsky.

"The 2010 JUNO Awards broadcast featured one of the most exceptional talent lineups ever. We're thrilled that so many artists had the chance to turn these special performances into an opportunity to support MusiCounts," said Steve Cranwell, Executive Director for MusiCounts.

While in St. John's, NL for JUNO Week, MusiCounts also visited Larkhall Academy to celebrate the school's $10,000 dollar Band Aid grant. JUNO-nominated children's act Bobs and Lolo performed for the students.
