MONTREAL, June 16, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Anges Québec today honored some of the organization's top talent at the second annual Prix Anges Québec gala. LANDR took home the Business of the Year, Polystyvert was named Investment of the Year for its success with Anges Québec members, and Jean-Marc Rousseau, an Anges Québec member for four years, was named Angel of the Year for his financial contribution and outstanding involvement with the businesses in which he has invested.
The second annual awards gala marks the end of another banner year for the employees, investors, and entrepreneurs associated with Anges Québec, the province's leading venture capital network. And in the view of board chair Michel Brûlé, the network's exponential growth has only just begun. "Today's award winners are living proof that Quebec has a thriving culture of entrepreneurship. When forward-looking entrepreneurs find the backing they need, great things can be accomplished. As Anges Québec has reached its 100th investment, we understand that, today more than ever before, investment in homegrown entrepreneurs is critical to the province's economy. This second annual Anges Québec awards gala reflects who we are: an innovative organization that knows how to make things happen."
