DevOps Institute ranks number 1790 on the annual Inc. 5000 list
BOCA RATON, Fla., Aug. 17, 2021 /CNW/ -- DevOps Institute, a global professional association for advancing the human elements of DevOps, today announced it has been named to the annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy's most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
DevOps Institute is dedicated to helping advance the human elements of DevOps through Skills, Knowledge, Ideas and Learning (SKIL). In addition to revenue growth, DevOps Institute has expanded its team with an employee growth of 65 percent in the past year and achieved membership growth of 15 percent.
"It is truly an honor to be named one of the fastest-growing companies in the country," said Jayne Groll, CEO of DevOps Institute. "DevOps Institute's growth and progress as an organization speaks to our firm commitment to the DevOps community and our one-track mission to advance the human elements of DevOps. We are fortunate to have a team who wholeheartedly believes in this mission and dedicates their skills and talents to providing the tools, programs and opportunities that enrich and advance the IT community."
Not only have the companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but this year's list also proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020's unprecedented challenges. Among the 5,000, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543 percent, and median revenue reached $11.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.
As a result of its strong growth, DevOps Institute has released or expanded several tools and programs in 2021 which demonstrate its success:
