$2.5 Million Phase III Club Improvement Plan Begins at St. Andrews Country Club of Boca Raton
BOCA RATON, Fla., April 30, 2014 /CNW/ - The final phase of the $17.5 million club improvement plan is underway at St. Andrews Country Club and includes practical improvements and the redesign of the free standing, casual dining venue, Lakeside. Construction is expected to be completed in November 2014.
Lakeside is a member favorite with its' casual atmosphere, home-style comfort food and light menu offerings not to mention the spectacular views of the lake and golf courses. Originally built in 1996 it is getting an expanded kitchen to allow for improved efficiencies to better handle the high volume it regularly receives and an update to the décor and furnishings.
Ed Rice, President, St. Andrews CC Board of Governors stated, "We are pleased with the positive feedback from our members after completing Phases I and II and know Phase III will be equally impressive. When beginning this project, the goal was to attract younger members to the community and club which is exactly what we have been seeing these past few years."
Phase I encompassed the men's card room and both men's and ladies' locker rooms and was completed November 2012. Phase II included a complete redesign of the clubhouse, Gallery restaurant and lounge/bar, main entry features, landscaping, recreation and aquatic center and addition of two new dining venues.
Prospective members seeking real estate in private residential communities are attracted to clubs offering great upgraded facilities, reputable service and family-oriented amenities. The 3-year club improvement plan provides a roadmap for the club and facility upgrades, replacements or expansion that meets the needs of current and future members.
"We are excited to embark on this next and final phase of our club improvement plan with Manhas Interior Design and Aguila Architects," added Craig D. Martin C.C.M., COO/GM. "St. Andrews has been a leader in the Boca Raton market for setting benchmarks on standards of excellence.
