2nd Annual AlphaNorth Capital Conference: A Complete Success
TORONTO, Jan. 27, 2015 /CNW/ - AlphaNorth Asset Management is pleased to announce it hosted the 2nd Annual AlphaNorth Capital Conference at Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island, Bahamas January 16-18.
The conference is a one stop shop opportunity for fund managers, investment advisors and wealth management professionals looking for insight and possible new investment ideas through valuable one-on-one sessions with small-cap companies. This year there were 39 small-cap companies representing technology, healthcare, financial, consumer products and special situation sectors who were eager to outline the investment opportunity of their companies to the over 50 investment professionals in attendance. The conference also included social events that offered the opportunity to learn more about the companies from a different perspective.
The conference was heralded as a complete success as attendees found the entire event extremely rewarding, interesting and informative. Steve Palmer, AlphaNorth President & CEO, spoke at the closing dinner commenting on the small-cap market and his outlook by saying "resilient investors will ultimately be rewarded for sticking with the Venture at a time when most have abandoned it."
Success could not have been achieved if not for the excellent production by Capital Event Management (www.capitalevent.ca) and sponsorship of PowerOne Capital Markets Limited (www.poweronecapital.com).
SAVE THE DATE: The 3rd Annual Capital Conference will be held January 15-18, 2016 at the Atlantis Resort.
